胎土と釉の膨張係数がごくわずかにずれるため、光の加減でのみ確認できるほど細かな貫入が入り、使用を重ねると花水が染み込み霞がかる景色へと育ちます。胴の凹部には釉が溜まり、鉄分が還元されて黒点が現れ、景色のアクセントになっています。
