Initially there was some reduction in evidence though aggressive swirling eventually reveals liqueur like aromas of dark currant, earthy, violet and soft spice nuances. The notably rich yet delineated medium weight flavors also possess a refined mouthfeel while delivering fine length on the mineralinflected finale. Lovely stuff and this is a wine of power and refinement. 92 2023+
