SOLD (1930) Barnaby £105 Chad valley His linen paw pads areSOLD Barnaby is a lovely and quite unusual Chiltern bear made in the late 1930s, early 1940s. Made during a time when materials were scarce and in short supply he has some interesting characteristics. He has three black claw and foot paw stitches opposed to the more familiar four and his pads are made from a thick cotton, canvas like material. This perhaps was experimental but more likely due to availability, and an attempt to reduce the amount of
