It was a quick turnaround from when I got home to making it out to City Park in Denver

however like myself they were treated to the clouds lighting this first morning of 2012

this is a reminder of winter just being around the corner

Using a shallow depth of field I focused on the brick post and let the lines lead to the color in the background

Approaching the capitol building I thought about some different angles which could be a possibility on the One Mile Above Sea Level image which was taken in 2008. As I got low I looked at different angles and in the dusk like the perspective of the angle view of this popular location to visit.
